As a specialist attorney at law in the design and manufacturing industry, I’m your one-stop shop for protecting your intellectual property and all related national and international agreements. Working for companies and individuals who create innovative products that make the world a little better and more beautiful is what energises me. And I now have more than 30 years of experience in this field.
 

I also pursue several other activities.
 

As the in-house lawyer for the VIIA (Association of Interior Importers and Agents), I have had the pleasure of advising member companies on agency and distribution agreements since January 2023.
 

I also enjoy sharing my knowledge by writing articles for Interior Business magazine and LinkedIn.

For companies developing or commissioning apps, I’ve written a free e-book called Apps & (see my LinkedIn).
 

I think it’s important to give something back to society, which is why I’m a board member of the Stichting Rechtshulp Ontwerpers , which provides legal assistance to designers, and a supervisor of both What Design Can Do (WDCD), and the Alja Zorg en Wonen care institution. I also chair Pictoright’s Rightholders Disputes Committee.
 

To keep myself fit, I run, walk and row, and I relax on the yoga mat. Furthermore, I always enjoy a good book.
